FUN MUSICAL FACT:

The Musical Mabels make a washtub bass after their instruments get sucked into a black hole. For that sound, we used an upright bass with the endpin perched on an inverted metal tub. We scattered a bunch of random hardware on the tub and used a mic on the tub instead of the bass.
